Our Story

Logo for Circle J Earthworks featuring a stylized circle with a J inside and the company name.

Circle J Earthworks is a family business built on service, integrity, and hard work. Founder John Michael Johnson served 11 years in the U.S. Army with tours in Iraq and Qatar. After a training injury, he was medically discharged as a First Lieutenant in 2015 and began looking for a second career that kept him outdoors and helping people. With a family background in farming and construction, site work was a natural fit. He launched Circle J Earthworks in 2019.

In 2023, John’s wife Erin joined the team after 17 years as a Registered Dietitian. She manages scheduling, communication, and the details that keep every project moving smoothly.

What We Do

We prepare land the right way for homeowners, builders, farms, and small businesses. From clearing and grading to driveways, demolition, and cleanup, we focus on quality results, tidy job sites, and clear communication.

Our Values

  • Integrity: Fair pricing, honest timelines, and work that matches the scope.

  • Pride in craftsmanship: Precise, efficient, detail-oriented site work.

  • Respect for your property: Clean edges, proper drainage, and thorough cleanup.

  • Service mindset: We coordinate with trusted partners or rented equipment when a project benefits from a specialist. We remain your primary contractor from start to finish.
